Gentleness
Strength under control; moral goodness expressed kindly.

The teaching
Chrestotes describes a kindness that is useful and easy to be around — strength that has been made gentle. It is the opposite of harshness, sarcasm and domination.
Gentleness is not timidity. It takes real strength to speak truth without wounding and to correct without crushing.
Jesus described His own yoke as easy — the same word root — and it is how He handles bruised reeds and smoldering wicks.
