Longsuffering / Patience
Patience with people, and trust in God's timing.

The teaching
Makrothymia literally means 'long-tempered' — slow to anger. It is mostly about people: bearing with those who irritate, disappoint or wrong you without retaliating.
It is also patience with God's timing. Waiting is not wasted; it is the soil where character is formed and where promises are held without manipulation.
God models this first. His patience toward us is not weakness but mercy that makes room for repentance.
