Fruit 6 of 9

Goodness

Kindness in action, with backbone.

Agathosyne
Goodness (Agathosyne) — fruit of the Spirit

The teaching

Agathosyne is goodness that acts. It gives, serves and shows up. But it also has moral spine — the same goodness that fed the hungry also cleared the temple.

Goodness refuses to be merely nice. It confronts what harms people and pursues what genuinely helps them.

It is the visible face of the gospel to a watching world: good works that make people glorify the Father.
